Jeff Smith, Concept Creator and Designer 


Jeff Smith is a leader in interactive experiences and advanced entertainment technologies; he has spearheaded global projects for top brands like Red Bull, Nike, Microsoft and Pepsi. In 2009, he co-founded Eye Vapor, a technology and creative studio that designs live, interactive experiences, featuring augmented reality, video, 3D graphics and projection mapping. Previously, Jeff was World Wide Director of Graphics at innovative video game company Electronic Arts for nine years and Director of Development at THQ for six years.


For this project Jeff spearheaded the concept of the Chrono Craft and oversaw its mechanical design. He also managed development of the customized technology and software which were critical to bringing the history of the location to life. Jeff spent seven months in China overseeing the project to ensure that the technical, design and storytelling features successfully came together.

Steve Petersen, Creative Director


Steve is an Emmy award-winning creative director known for producing work that combines live-action and visual effects to create immersive audience experiences. Notable projects include the interactive launch event for Alien: Rogue Incursion Meta Quest 3; a four-story anamorphic screen for Creed 3 and the 2018 NIKE All-Star Weekend Pop-Up in Hollywood. He is also the co-founder of Big Machine, a leading LA-based creative studio that combines live-action storytelling with design and technology to produce unforgettable content. 


For this project, Steve oversaw key aspects of the project from supervising the script and story teams to leading the development of the custom visuals and audio. He was also instrumental in incorporating new technologies into the storytelling process to ensure that audiences would have a dynamic experience on the Chrono Craft.
